I've had the pleasure of working with colleagues at Umea University. Some of the work has been with doctoral students in Behaviour Measurement. I had the pleasure of many conversations with Miguel Inzunza and Eva Knekta, now both employed at Umea. The group had leadership from Christina Wikström and Hanna Eklöf.
This study examined how empathy among police education candidates related to their cognitive abilities.

This study showed that greater intellectual ability was associated with greater resilience and coping with academic demands.

My current collaboration is with Prof Torulf Palm and his colleagues in Math and Science Education on Formative Assessment. Here are some studies that look at how teachers respond to and think about assessment and feedback. There are more in the pipeline.
